Former Southampton attacker Dusan Tadic scored one and assisted another in Ajax’s 3-1 win against Dynamo Kiev in their latest Champions League qualifier in Amsterdam on Wednesday night, and Saints fans were quick to have their say on his latest display.
The south coast outfit sold the 29-year-old to the Dutch giants earlier in the summer to bring his four-year spell at St Mary’s to an end, and it’s fair to say that the Serbia international has hit the ground running at his new club.
The winger has scored three goals and assisted a further three in five appearances in qualification for Europe’s elite club competition, while he has also netted once in the Eredivisie to show the quality he clearly has in his locker.

Southampton supporters, who have also reacted to the latest performance of another former favourite with one saying “I’m starting to think we got ripped off”, took to social media to give their thoughts on Tadic’s most recent performance, and while one said “wish he was still a Saint”, another said “Tadic is absolutely smashing it for Ajax”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
