Vinicius was awarded The Best FIFA Men's Player of the Year, while he also joined his Real Madrid team-mates Bellingham, Dani Carvajal and Antonio Rudiger in The Best FIFA Men’s 11. Meanwhile, Los Blancos' under-fire coach Ancelotti won the award for The Best FIFA Men's Coach of the Year. After winning the award, Vinicius addressed his co-stars ahead of their Intercontinental Cup final in Doha against Pachuca.

Speaking to his teammates, Vinicius said, according to : "Thank you all, this award would not have been possible without you. You are part of my family and it is very important to be with you every day. Luka [Modric], Lucas Vazquez, [Dani] Ceballos, Fede [Valverde]… those of you who have seen me arrive here as a child. And being able to win this is very important."
WHAT ANCELOTTI SAID
Ancelotti also gave his squad a big speech, following up Vinicius's kind words to the Real Madrid players.
Ancelotti said: "I want to share it with you because when a coach receives an individual award it is obviously thanks to his players, for the success the team has had, this is quite obvious. Thank you all for your effort, for the quality you have and above all for the attitude you have and the people you are. You can have success based on a professional relationship, but after so many years what brings more success is the personal relationship. Luckily you are all intelligent and we have a very good personal relationship and this is the secret of success. Thank you very much."

Rudiger and Bellingham kept their messages short and to the point as they went last in the line to address their team-mates. Bellingham said in English: "Thank you for the warm welcome you gave me in my first year. Thank you all for helping me win."
Rudiger followed up with a similar message: Thank you all very much. Let's go for more".
