Patrice Evra has always seemed to be one of those flamboyant characters that you would love to have as one of your teammates.
The Frenchman’s antics on social media and in his private life have brought some fantastic memories for football fans and Manchester United supporters alike – who can ever forget him dressing up in a panda costume and then blessing us with his incredible dance moves in an apparent anti-racism message.
And on Paul Scholes’ latest Instagram post, Evra was his typical humorous self.

After his former United teammate posted a picture with fellow ex-Red Devil, Dwight Yorke, with the caption “now this is a centre-forward”, Evra seemed to think Scholes was landing a bit of a dig at the club’s transfer business in January.
The Manchester side appeared to be scrambling around on deadline day at the end of the January transfer window for a new striker, with Odion Ighalo eventually arriving on loan until the end of the season from Shanghai Shenhua.
Evra delivered a particularly amusing response, and urged Scholes to “stop throwing too many bombs”. Check out the post below:
Evra may well have retired from professional football, but that hasn’t stopped him from still being a major talking point.
His punditry work in recent months saw him deliver a damning verdict on United’s rivals Arsenal, calling them “babies”.
Never change, Patrice. Never change.
Meanwhile, Nicky Butt has hailed this Man Utd starlet who plays at 100mph.
