Ipswich Town attacker and Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson was instead handed the award, for his three goals and two assists, helping lead them to four victories and one draw across February. Sargent, meanwhile, had five goals that helped see the Canaries to an undefeated month with three victories and two draws.
Despite his heroic goalscoring performances, he lost out by a narrow margin.

Due to Sargent's incredible form, with 11 goals in 16 matches for the Canaries, he is now in pole position to play a role on the international stage with the USMNT. With an upcoming CONCACAF Nations League semifinal against Jamaica on March 21, he could be called upon to play the striker role for Gregg Berhalter's squad.
He is set to compete for minutes with a brilliant pool of forwards, though, with Ricardo Pepi and Folarin Balogun both vying for minutes.
