Per the , the Gunners are all set to meet Saka's representatives to discuss a contract extension, as the club aims to tie their star player down to a new long-term deal. Saka, who signed his last extension in 2022, currently earns a reported figure of £10m per season, but is due to drop into the free agency pool at the end of the 2006-07 campaign.

The England international has remained sidelined for the past three months after he tore his hamstring and subsequently underwent surgery in December. However, Saka remains a key member of Mikel Arteta's squad and the north London side have made it a priority to retain the 23-year-old's services.
