"For Douglas and me to be together in the same club is a dream," Lehmann said to the official Juventus website after completing her transfer.
"We have often played in different cities, so being able to have these great adventures in the same place is something wonderful".

Lehmann had three successful seasons at Villa before she set sail for Italy. She believes that her stint in the WSL has made her more mature and now the 25-year-old is eager to prove her mettle in the Italian top-flight.
"I have spent my entire career in England and have learnt a lot over these years. I arrived there as a little girl, now I am more mature," Lehmann said. "In the last few years, I learnt to understand the moments within the game, and I believe I can bring what I've learned through these experiences to Juve".
Speaking about her primary attributes, Lehmann added: "First of all, I inject pace: I like dribbling, sprinting and of course scoring goals. But I also like providing assists for my teammates. I am happy to be a team player, which is another characteristic I have learnt to adopt over my career”.

The addition of Lehmann is expected to bolster Juventus' attacking options and provide a fresh impetus to challenge for the title in the upcoming season after they finished second in last season’s Serie A Femminile, 11 points behind league winners Roma.
