The Western Conference side posted on X that both new Designated Players will be available for selection.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Paintsil and Pec both replace two famous DP's on the Galaxy's roster, with Chicharito Hernandez and Douglas Costa both departing in the offseason. The two 30+ once-European greats left the Galaxy, and they've gone the route of younger – but still proven – with their replacements.
Paintsil – a Ghana international – arrives from Genk in Belgium where he netted 17 goals and added 11 assists in 36 matches last campaign. Pec, meanwhile, made 178 senior team appearances in the midfield for Vasco Da Gama by 23-years-old before his transfer this Winter.
