Joao Cancelo is finally set to leave Manchester City after reportedly agreeing a €25 million move to Al-Hilal on a lucrative deal.

According to , the 30-year-old is completing the formalities of the transfer in Paris, before heading to the Saudi Pro League side. The ex-Barcelona loanee is reportedly going to sign for the club this week for £21m ($28m) on a salary of £13m ($17m) – excluding bonuses.

Cancelo hasn't played for City since falling out with manager Pep Guardiola in early 2023. He was then shipped out on loan to Bayern and then Barcelona in the past 18 months and, although Guardiola opened the door to a possible return for the Portugal international, all parties are set for a profitable outcome with this transfer.
