It has, however, been reported by that Mbappe pushed for a way out of Parc des Princes two years ago after being left disappointed by recruitment business. He is said to have wanted PSG to bring in Robert Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva, and welcomed interest from the Premier League as Liverpool supposedly put a €200 million (£169m/$222m) offer on the table.
WHAT DUGARRY SAID
Former France international and 1998 World Cup winner, Christophe Dugarry, has told of questionable behaviour from an apparent superstar: “Mbappe, he almost signed for Liverpool because he didn’t have the players he wanted. He was promised Lewandowski and Silva, but since that didn’t happen, he was ready to leave for Liverpool.
“But what is that? But dude, are you a player, coach, sporting director, president? What are you? I’ve never seen that. I promise you, I’ve had the chance to play with great players, I’ve seen their behaviour, I’ve never seen guys do that.”
