Bayern legend Lothar Matthaus has said in his column for : “After the win against Mainz, Harry Kane complained about his yellow card , which will suspend him from the next game in Leipzig. His criticism of referee Bastian Dankert was, in my opinion, unjustified. There are rules, and they apply to Kane as well.
“One can debate whether Dankert should have shown more sensitivity, but in other games too there were yellow or even yellow-red cards for delaying the game, such as in Bremen's win against Mainz at the end of January.”
