Jean Symes resisted, but his 80-ball 55 was the only notable contribution aside from Devon Conway, who paired with Symes to put on 75 runs for the fifth wicket. Craig Alexander ensured the lower fared no better than the batsmen before them as he claimed three wickets – the third seamer to do so in the innings in addition to Frylinck and Savage.Half-centuries from Miller, who was adjudged the Player of the Match, and Vaughn van Jaarsveld overcame a dismal start by Doplhins. They were 3 for 2 before the duo added 85 runs to return the advantage. Miller remained unbeaten, his 76 off 68 balls featuring 10 fours and a six. Achieving the target in the 37th over earned Dolphins a bonus point.
